Weekend Tennis Camp Itinerary

FRIDAY:

One and a half hours fast paced drills to blow away the weeks troubles (afternoon)

SATURDAY:

One and a half hours tennis group coaching with max 4 players/coach (morning) & One and a half hours themed tennis group coaching session with max 4 players/coach (afternoon), plus evening meal at a local restaurant (cost of meal not included)

SUNDAY:

Doubles/singles tournament, plus coffee and awards ceremony (after tournament)

Welcome drink to meet the group and get organised

SUNDAY:

Two hours play (morning) & social tennis (afternoon)

MONDAY:

Two hours group coaching (morning) with a maximum of 4 per group & doubles clinic (afternoon) tactically based for all standards & group

TUESDAY:

Two hours group coaching (morning) & social tennis with Philip Karafillides providing tips (afternoon)

WEDNESDAY:

Free day

THURSDAY:

Two hours group coaching (morning) & doubles for all (afternoon)

FRIDAY:

Friendly tournament with local players

      “Saint Andrea” Paros Seaside Resort is located in less than 2 km from the tennis courts of Aegean Tennis Centre and right beside of the island’s most beautiful beaches, “Κolimpithres”.

      The island of Paros belongs to the Cyclades, the most popular Greek islands group.

      Thousands of tourists every year visit Paros for its spectacular Cycladic beauty. It is easily reachable from Athens and offers great beaches, lively nightlife, excellent food and wonderful white washed towns.

      Activities include swimming in the bluest waters of Aegean sea, windsurf (Paros is the number 1 destination for windsurfing in Greece), hiking and of course unique tennis holidays with Tennis in Greece!

      Taking a ferry from Paros is the only way to access Antiparos, a smaller and more secluded island!

      Old Town And Port Of Naoussa

      Walk into the white-washed cobblestone alleys of the Old Town in Naoussa, which lead to a tiny picturesque worth seeing port.

      Lefkes Village

      Lefkes is a traditional picturesque mountain village in Paros, where you can enjoy its unique architecture with the neoclassic buildings,  in one of the ‘hidden’ cafés of the village.

      Port Town of Parikia

      Visit The Cafes And Boutiques Of The port town of Parikia which is a traditional settlement with beautiful cobblestone alleys, white washed houses and countless attractive little shops and cafés.

      Panagia Ekatontapyliani

      Panagia Ekatontapyliani, one of the most important sacred sights in Greece, is a spectacular 4th century Byzantine Church in the port town of Parikia. The icon of Panagia in the church is considered miraculous. The legend also says that 99 doors have been found in the Church and the 100th will be discovered only when Constantinople is Greek again.

      Take A Boat From Naoussa To Kolybithres

      Kolybithres is probably the most famous beach on the island because of  its unique geology with the million year granite rock formations and the crystal clear waters.

      Paros Park

      The walking paths that introduce you to the beautiful nature with the unspoiled rock formations on the island. Every year all kinds of music and traditional Greek concerts, as well as  fascinating cultural events take place during the festival of the Park (June-October).

      You can also  watch a film under the stars at the open movie theater Cine Enastron (for free). The Cycladic monastery of Ai Yiannis Detis is also well worth a visit.

      Water Sports

      Paros is one of the most famous destinations for windsurfing worldwide. It has a long tradition as an island that is ideal for all  water sports, like surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, waterskiing, kayaking and canoeing and scuba diving.

      You can find certified trainers at beaches like Golden Beach, New Golden Beach and Santa Maria.Paros. The Windsurfing World Championship was held for many years at the Golden Beach and still attracts lovers of the sport.

      By Air:

      There are direct flights from the International Airport of Athens.

      By Sea:

      There are ferries from the main ports of Athens (Piraeus and Rafina) and a daily boat to Paros from Piraeus all year round.
