The nearest airport to Sparti is Kalamata International Airport (KLX), which is located approximately 1.5 to 2 hours away from Sparti by car. From Kalamata Airport, you can rent a car, take a bus or taxi to reach Sparti.By Bus:
From Athens:Head to the main bus terminal in Athens, which is KTEL Kifissou (KTEL Athens Intercity Buses). It is located at Kifissou Avenue, 100, Athens, near the city center.
The journey from Athens to Sparti by bus takes approximately 3.5 to 4 hours, depending on traffic and the route taken. Buses may have stops along the way for rest and refreshments.
From Kalamata:
Head to the main bus terminal in Kalamata, which is KTEL Kalamata (KTEL Messinias). It is located at 67, Aristomenous Street, Kalamata, near the city center.
The journey from Kalamata to Sparti by bus takes around 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the route and traffic conditions.
